The new Honda Elevate facelift starts at ₹11.80 lakh (ex-showroom) and goes up to ₹18.40 lakh for the top-end ZX+ Black CVT variant. The facelift continues with the same 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine, while Honda has focused mainly on styling, comfort, technology and safety upgrades.
The updated Elevate is available in five main trims: SV, V, VX, ZX and ZX+. The new ZX+ variant sits at the top of the regular lineup.
| Variant | Petrol MT | Petrol CVT |
|---|---|---|
| SV | ₹11.80 lakh | — |
| V | ₹12.29 lakh | ₹13.79 lakh |
| VX | ₹13.93 lakh | ₹15.39 lakh |
| ZX | ₹15.39 lakh | ₹16.89 lakh |
| ZX+ | ₹16.80 lakh | ₹18.30 lakh |
| ZX+ Black | ₹16.90 lakh | ₹18.40 lakh |
The facelift doesn’t completely transform the Elevate. Instead, Honda has made targeted changes to make the SUV look more modern and improve its equipment list.
The front of the Elevate gets a revised appearance with a gloss-black honeycomb grille and updated lighting elements. The LED headlamps retain their L-shaped signature, but the DRLs now create a more connected appearance.
Honda has also moved the Honda badge from the grille to the bonnet, while the exterior cladding receives a gloss-black finish.
At the rear, the LED tail-lamps now feature a connected design, giving the SUV a wider visual appearance. The facelift also gets a new Nordic Forest Pearl colour option.
Inside, the overall dashboard layout remains familiar, but Honda has added more premium-looking materials and ambient lighting.
The previous faux-wood trim has been replaced by additional leatherette padding on the dashboard. The cabin continues with a practical layout but now feels more modern and feature-rich.
One of the major feature additions is ventilated front seats.
This can be particularly useful in India’s hot weather, making longer drives more comfortable. The facelift also gets powered front seats on applicable variants.
Honda has added rear-seat ventilation, a feature designed to improve comfort for passengers sitting in the second row.
This is an important addition because rear-seat comfort and convenience features are becoming increasingly common in the midsize SUV segment.
The new Elevate facelift also gets a 360-degree camera, making parking and manoeuvring in tight spaces easier.
Along with the camera, Honda has added front parking sensors and other parking-related improvements on higher variants.
Honda has also upgraded the Elevate’s safety equipment.
The facelift gets features such as:
Rear disc brakes
Electronic parking brake
Auto Hold
Front parking sensors
Adaptive cruise control with stop-and-go functionality
Level 2 ADAS functionality
These additions make the updated Elevate more competitive with feature-rich rivals.
Honda has not introduced a new engine with the facelift.
The SUV continues with the 1.5-litre, four-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol engine. It produces around 121hp and 145Nm and is available with a 6-speed manual or CVT automatic gearbox.
The claimed fuel efficiency is around:
Manual: 15.31 kmpl
CVT: 16.61 kmpl
So, buyers expecting a turbo-petrol or hybrid powertrain will have to wait. Honda has concentrated this update on design, features and refinement rather than mechanical changes.
Another important improvement is better sound insulation.
The previous Elevate was criticised for allowing noticeable engine, tyre and road noise into the cabin, particularly at higher engine speeds. Honda says it has added additional sound-deadening material around areas such as the instrument panel and wheel wells to improve NVH levels.
This could make the facelift more comfortable for highway journeys and everyday city driving.
The biggest differences between the old and new Elevate are not related to the engine. Instead, the facelift focuses on equipment and styling.
The new Elevate gets:
Revised grille and exterior styling
Connected-looking front DRLs
Updated rear LED lighting
New Nordic Forest Pearl colour
Ambient lighting
Powered front seats
Ventilated front seats
Rear-seat ventilation
360-degree camera
Air purifier
Front parking sensors
Rear disc brakes
Electronic parking brake with Auto Hold
Enhanced ADAS functionality
Improved cabin insulation
The Honda Elevate facelift makes the SUV a more attractive option for buyers looking for a comfortable and practical midsize SUV.
Its biggest strengths remain its naturally aspirated petrol engine, spacious cabin, SUV design and Honda’s focus on practicality. The facelift addresses some of the previous model’s feature and refinement shortcomings.
However, the lack of a turbo-petrol or hybrid powertrain may disappoint buyers looking for stronger performance or improved fuel efficiency through electrification.
For buyers who value comfort, safety, practicality and a naturally aspirated petrol engine, the updated Elevate deserves a place on the shortlist.
The facelift continues to compete in one of India’s most competitive SUV segments. Key alternatives include:
Hyundai Creta
Kia Seltos
Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara
Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder
Volkswagen Taigun
Skoda Kushaq
Tata Sierra
Maruti Suzuki Victoris
The additional features and refreshed styling should help Honda keep the Elevate competitive in this segment.
The Honda Elevate facelift 2026 is more of a comprehensive feature and design refresh than a completely new SUV. Honda has retained the familiar 1.5-litre petrol engine but added several features that buyers increasingly expect from a modern midsize SUV.
With prices starting at ₹11.80 lakh, the updated Elevate offers a more premium cabin, improved comfort, additional safety technology and refreshed styling.
If you already own an Elevate, the facelift may not provide enough mechanical changes to justify an immediate upgrade. But for someone planning to buy a new midsize SUV, the 2026 Honda Elevate facelift is certainly worth considering.
